Reputation Management for Tech & Startups
For startups, SaaS and software companies, early-stage negative reviews can disproportionately affect fundraising and hiring. We help technology businesses across the UK protect their reputation with proactive monitoring and authoritative content — ethically and within each platform’s policies.
Reputation Management for Tech & Startups is mostly about accuracy. Fast-moving companies change a great deal in eighteen months, but search results do not keep up, so customers and candidates often find a picture of the company as it was rather than as it is. Our work is corrective, not cosmetic: we report content that genuinely breaches a platform policy, deal with impersonation accounts and fake profiles that misuse your brand, and publish accurate, current information about what the company does today. We do not remove fair criticism and we do not ask anyone to conceal it. Where a complaint concerns personal data, the Information Commissioner’s Office sets out the applicable rights clearly. See how this fits alongside our wider work on our full list of services.
Trusted by SMEs, professional practices, corporate brands, and individual professionals across the UK since 2001.
Reputation Management for Tech & Startups — Frequently Asked Questions
Can you remove a fake review on a software or employer platform?
Only reviews that breach a platform’s policies — such as fake or competitor-driven reviews — can be reported for removal. We assess each one and never guarantee removal.
Can you protect a founder’s personal reputation?
Yes. We protect founders and executives from impersonation, defamation and damaging coverage, combining removals, suppression and content.
Negative content is affecting fundraising — can you help?
Yes. We prioritise proactive monitoring and authoritative content that builds trust with investors and talent.
Do you work with early-stage startups?
Yes. We tailor our approach to your stage and budget, starting with a free audit.
Is this legal and safe?
Yes. We use only ethical, policy-based methods and never fake reviews or manipulative tactics.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the scale and complexity of your situation. We start with a free consultation and audit, then provide a tailored proposal.
Can you deal with fake accounts impersonating our brand?
Yes. Impersonation is prohibited on every major platform and is usually one of the faster removals, particularly where a fake account is being used to contact your customers. We gather the evidence and submit the report through each platform’s trademark or impersonation route.
What about negative employee reviews?
Genuine reviews from real employees stay, and they should. Trying to suppress them tends to make things worse and is not something we will do. What we can address is content that breaches policy, reviews from people who never worked for you, and posts that identify individuals.
What can realistically be removed?
Content that breaches a platform policy or UK law: reviews from people with no genuine connection to the company, defamatory statements presented as fact, impersonation accounts, and personal data published without consent. Fair criticism cannot be removed and we will not claim otherwise. There the honest answer is to publish better, more current information and let it rank.
How long does the process take?
Straightforward removals are usually resolved within two to four weeks of submission. Where the answer is publishing accurate current coverage rather than removal, expect two to four months for that to establish itself in search results.
