How Our Guarantee
Actually Works.
Straight answers about our guaranteed-placement model — how it works, what qualifies, and what happens if a placement falls through.
How the Guarantee Works
What does “guaranteed placement” actually mean?
It means we secure genuine editorial coverage in a named publication as agreed at the start of your campaign — or you don’t pay the full fee. We only commit to a publication once we’ve assessed realistic editorial fit for your story, so the guarantee is backed by an honest vetting process rather than a blanket promise.
What happens if a placement doesn’t go ahead?
If we’re unable to deliver the agreed placement within the agreed timeframe, our money-back terms apply as set out in your service agreement. We’ll always tell you early if a story isn’t landing rather than stringing a campaign along.
What disqualifies a story or client from guaranteed placement?
Stories that involve unverifiable claims, ongoing legal disputes we cannot review, or requests to misrepresent facts to a journalist. We vet every brief before confirming a guarantee so both sides know what “success” looks like upfront.
Is the guarantee the same for every industry and publication tier?
Terms can vary slightly by publication tier and industry complexity — for example, top-tier national press typically carries a longer lead time than trade press. Your account contact will confirm the specific terms that apply to your package before you commit.
Process & Timing
How long does a typical placement take?
Turnaround varies by outlet and story complexity, but most guaranteed placements are confirmed and published within the timeframe agreed in your package — ask your account contact for the specific window for your campaign.
Do you write the story, or does a journalist?
Coverage is produced editorially by the publication’s own journalists or contributors wherever the outlet requires it, or placed as a bylined/contributed piece where the publication’s format allows it. We’ll always tell you which format applies to your placement before you commit.
What do you need from me to get started?
A short intake call or brief covering your story, key facts, any supporting evidence or data, and your target timeline — from there we handle outlet matching and pitching.
Can I request specific publications?
Yes, tell us your priority outlets and we’ll confirm whether they’re a realistic editorial fit for your story before committing to them as part of your guarantee.
Scope & Industry Fit
Can you see examples of past placements?
Yes — see our case studies page for representative campaign scenarios, and ask your account contact for live links to comparable recent placements during your consultation.
What industries and story types do you work with?
We cover most commercial industries — see our full list of industry PR pages for specific niches, including celebrity, crypto, fintech, luxury fashion, music, healthcare, ESG, IPO/investor relations, and visa/immigration media portfolios.
Do you work with individuals as well as companies?
Yes, we work with public figures, executives, founders, and individual applicants (for example, visa-related media portfolios) as well as companies and brands.
Do you only work with UK clients?
No — while we’re a UK-based, editorially-led agency, we work with clients internationally who need coverage in UK, US, or other international press.
Pricing & Refunds
Is pricing negotiable?
Our package tiers are outlined on the pricing page. For bespoke or multi-market campaigns, contact us directly and we’ll scope a custom quote.
How does the refund process actually work?
If a guaranteed placement isn’t delivered within the agreed terms, refund conditions from your service agreement apply — your account contact will confirm the exact steps and timeline for your specific case.
Are there any ongoing/retainer options?
Yes, several of our services (for example, creative content support and executive thought leadership) are available on an ongoing monthly retainer rather than a one-off basis — ask about retainer options for your campaign type.
