Health & Wellness Publications
Browse 17 health & wellness outlets United Press can place your story with. This list covers health, wellness and medical-focused titles across consumer and trade press. Get in touch to discuss which outlets fit your announcement.
These Health & Wellness Publications are titles we can place announcements with directly. This is the sector where what you may say is most tightly controlled, and where getting it wrong carries the most risk. Health claims are regulated, advertising prescription medicines to the public is prohibited, and titles in this space are increasingly careful about what they publish because their readers act on it.

How placement in Health & Wellness Publications works
The announcements that place reliably are corporate and factual: clinic openings, funding rounds, senior clinical appointments, research findings, service expansions and partnerships. Product stories are harder, because any suggestion of a therapeutic benefit engages the rules on health claims. Where a client has genuine evidence, we describe it precisely and proportionately, and where results are preliminary we say so, because an overclaim that gets corrected later does more damage than the coverage was worth.
Two limits are worth stating plainly. Prescription-only medicines cannot be advertised to the public in the UK, and no agency can work around that. Nutrition and health claims on foods and supplements must be authorised ones. The MHRA publishes the UK guidance on advertising medicines. See the rest of our work on our list of services.
Health & Wellness Publications — frequently asked questions
Can you advertise our prescription medicine to the public?
No. Advertising prescription-only medicines to the general public is prohibited in the UK. We can announce corporate news, research milestones and service developments, and support communications aimed at healthcare professionals through appropriate channels.
Can we make health claims about a supplement?
Only authorised claims, and only where the conditions attached to them are met. General wellness language without an authorised claim behind it is not permitted. We keep copy within the framework, which is also more credible to health journalists.
Can we announce clinical trial results?
Yes, provided the release reflects what the data shows. We keep the language proportionate to the evidence and state clearly where findings are preliminary or the sample was small, because health journalists check and will call out an overclaim.
What health announcements place most reliably?
Clinic and facility openings, funding, senior clinical appointments, published research, service expansions and partnerships. These are factual corporate news and sit outside the claims framework entirely.
Do you work with digital health and medtech businesses?
Yes. Digital health, medical devices, clinics and healthcare groups all have different regulatory considerations, and we set those out before drafting rather than after.
Which health titles can you place with?
The list on this page shows the health and wellness outlets currently in our guaranteed network. If a title you want is not listed, ask — placement outside the network is often possible on a pitched basis, without the same certainty.
