Every United Press service is paid for in advance. In return, every promise we make is backed by a 100% refund if we do not deliver it.

United Press takes payment for all services in full and in advance. Before you pay, we send you a written order confirmation that sets out exactly what you are buying. Depending on the service, it will include:
That written order confirmation is what our guarantees are measured against. If something is not in writing, please ask us to add it before you pay.
For guaranteed placements, your article is guaranteed to go live in the publication named in your order confirmation within 14 days of your approval of the final content. If it does not, you are entitled to a 100% refund of the amount you paid for that placement.
If your order includes several placements, the guarantee applies to each one separately. Any placement that does not go live as agreed is refunded in full, and placements that have gone live as agreed are not affected.
If you prefer, you may choose an equivalent replacement publication instead of a refund. A replacement is only ever made with your written agreement; we will never move your article to a different title without asking you first.
For reputation management services, such as removing reviews, search results, news articles or other online content, your order confirmation names the specific links or items we have agreed to remove and the timeframe that applies.
If we do not remove an agreed link or item within that timeframe, you are entitled to a 100% refund of the amount you paid for that link or item. Where an order covers several links, each one is guaranteed separately, and you are refunded in full for any that are not removed.
We only use lawful methods, such as platform policy reports, publisher requests and legal routes. We never create fake reviews or post misleading content.
For every other service, including PR campaigns, press release distribution, media relations and Wikipedia projects, the promise is simple: if we cannot give you what we promised in writing before you paid, you are entitled to a 100% refund of the amount you paid for the part we could not deliver.
Some outcomes are decided by independent third parties, for example journalists choosing whether to write an earned story, or Wikipedia’s volunteer editors deciding whether to accept an article. Your order confirmation always states clearly which outcomes are promised and which are not, so you know exactly what the guarantee covers before you pay.
We want this policy to be fair to everyone, so a refund does not apply where:
If you are unsure whether the guarantee applies, contact us. We will explain our view in writing.
Once we confirm that a refund applies, we issue it within 14 days, to the original payment method wherever possible. The time it takes to reach your account can depend on your bank or card provider.
This policy is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them. If you buy from us as a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, including a 14-day right to cancel a service contract made at a distance. If you ask us to start work during the cancellation period and later cancel, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the work already carried out; if the service has been fully performed at your request during that period, the right to cancel no longer applies.
Our guarantees and this policy are also governed by our Terms & Conditions.
